Important Note:

6th Grade

  • 1 2-inch binders
  • 4 1.5-inch binders
  • 3 sets of 5 divider tabs (Hunnicutt/Zabloski or Coleman)
  • 2 marble composition notebooks (100 pages)
  • Scissors
  • 3-ring pencil pouch
  • 2 poly-plastic folders with pockets
  • Colored pencils
  • Reinforcement labels
  • Headphones or earbuds (to be kept at school/ in locker, no Bluetooth items)
  • 4 packs of pencils (min. of 10 per pack)
  • 12 glue sticks
  • 5 packs loose leaf paper
  • Personal pencil sharpener

Advisory/Homeroom

  • 4 pack Expo markers

  • Index cards (3x5 or 4x6)
  • Zipper baggies (sandwich or quart)
  • 1 bottle hand sanitizer and/or Clorox wipes

 

6th Grade Art

  • AT LEAST 50 pages of plain white copy paper (NO LINES)
  • Several wooden pencils with erasers (NO MECHANICAL PENCILS)
  • 2 glue sticks
  • 2 black Sharpie markers
  • 1 box tissues
  • Clorox (or store brand) disinfecting wipe

Civics:  

  • 2 spiral notebooks (1 per semester)
  • 1 pack Astrobrights copy paper (green, orange, or yellow) to be turned in
  • 1 2-pocket portfolio with 3-prong fastener to be turned in

Science:

  • Binder

  • Calculator (to use at home)
  • 1 3-prong folder with pockets

  • Sandwich ziplock baggies (to be turned in to Mrs.Purvis/Ms. Mays)

English:

Lined loose leaf notebook paper

Pencil pouch, soft sided, containing:

  • #2 Pencils
  • Lined loose leaf notebook paper
  • Handheld sharpener
  • Colored pencils – twistable type (Crayons and markers do not work well for the assignments given in middle school)
  • Colored pens (similar to Papermate Inkjoy or Sharpie Pen, which do not bleed through pages)
  • Highlighter

Math 8/Adv. Math7/Pre-AP Algebra/Geometry:

  • 3-ring binder for Math (1in. is fine)

  • calculator for use at home (TI-30xa) / Algebra TI-84: Graphing Calculator (not required) / will use DESMOS online

ELA 8 Honors

ELA 8 General:

World Geography:

Environmental Science:
