AMS FFA
On Friday, April 24th we attended the VA Poultry Evaluation Contest held at the Rockingham Fairgrounds in Harrisonburg.
Students were responsible for grading live poultry, poultry carcasses, eggs, and ready-to-eat poultry products. Students were tested on their knowledge of the Virginia Poultry Industry and were asked to identify various poultry parts.
Highlighted placements are as follows:
9th overall TEAM B: Robert Hamilton, Josie Wright, Connor Coleman, Hunter Davis
10th overall TEAM A: Abigail Webster, Hume Campbell, Gracelyn Mays, Caleb Cox.
8th overall INDIVIDUAL: Abigail Webster
10th overall INDIVIDUAL: Robert Hamilton
13th overall INDIVIDUAL: Josie Wright
16th overall INDIVIDUAL: Wyatt Terwilliger
